Born and raised in South Philadelphia, I grew up in a hard working Catholic Italian family. My parents emigrated from the South of Italy and instilled in my sisters and me a very strong faith foundation. It was this that inspired my active participation in our church, which eventually led me to cantor and to join the school choir. This became a very special and important ministry that I still carry with me today.
I continue to be an active participant in my choirs and as a cantor at Mass. Music has always been a great love of mine and has helped me grow through different life experiences. I have always been drawn to happily sharing the gift of music with others by inviting their participation. In 2012, I released a CD entitled, “Blessings: A Collection of Psalms.” Singing them weekly at church provided me with the comfort and solace I needed during a very challenging time. My hope was that if I could inspire one person to experience a deeper sense of prayer and peace, I have fulfilled my purpose. You can hear clips of my cd below.
